This elegant home is located at 126 W. Harris St. in the heart of Savannah's National Landmark Historic District overlooking Pulaski Square. Theodore Bartow built this clapboard Federal and Greek Revival home in 1838 for his family. This four-story, 8,000 square foot mansion has had many owners over the years, including the famous antiques dealer Jim Williams, who purchased the house in 1973. This home has been renovated to include many modern amenities and original architectural details while maintaining its unique charm.
The SCAD Alumni Association will create designer and lifestyle rooms in the Bartow House. The event will offer interior design aficionados an unsurpassed opportunity to see one of the Historic District's premier properties embellished by the talents of SCAD alumni design professionals. All of the interior furnishings will be for sale as well as all of the art hanging on the walls, which will be exclusively created by SCAD alumni.
